Use the protractor for the bearing thing. Start in front of your boat at bearing 000, drag to the middle of your boat, then the degrees it reads is the relative bearing from your boat. Helps a LOT if you're using a bearing overlay though. Much more simple fix than essentially creating a new map tool.
I thought someone had fixed the white lightbulbs, but can't find it right now.
