If you go to terrapin's site and go to the skins section, there is one called U2518. The files there are a good source to look at. One thing I don't understand about it, is there seem to be a copy of the files with 000 extension. The skin works fine without these files, and these files are not in the Type XXI's folder.

In his Type XXI skin, the GUNS_SUB dat file has all the guns as black. This looked odd on the other U-boats. I extracted the dat file and left the Type XXI's guns black, but replaced the other texture with stock ones.
