As I said, the picture is looking aft, so the seabag, on the port side, is to the viewer's right. The seabag is right about where the captain and the chief sat in
Das Boot, but we're looking aft from ahead, so Werner would be on our immediate right and 2WO and 1WO to our left (all out of the picture, of course).
