After months of waiting we now get to see Nvidia launch DX11 cards in the form of their top of the line GTX480 card. It runs at temps more akin to the sun, needs a nuclear power plant to power it and under load sounds like an industrial dust buster. And pre-order prices at around £450 aren't exactly tempting either.

I'm thinking that after years of owning Nvidia cards it may be time for a change and ATI look pretty good right now. In particular the Eyefinity multi display technology looks a treat on the new 5xxx seres Radeon cards.
