It would be nice if we could see metal deforming from ductile fractures, such as the ones that occurred when the Titanic split in half. The current breakup graphics are a bit primitive. I've seen games from the early 1990's that had some very advanced metal deformation for cars that had collisions, etc. I guess the developers had too many other things to worry about...
