Just a reminder of how trivial graphics are, 1994's Aces of the Deep and 1996's Silent Hunter 1 are still on top of the best subsim list.
Heck, I'll play an all 3D wire frame subsim, as long as all the features are there.
The mind's eye is the best graphic card anyways.
