What is not known is if the second or intermediary tower (like silent hunter 3) or cut tower is there. For this we have to wait for the patch and see if we can have this cut tower during improvements.
The photos showing some of the last pictures of U-47 in february 41 show this new "cut" tower.
As i said above, the Narvik mission shows a correct tower with a small basket or bath behind like A but has wind deflector in the middle of the tower.
I hope to have this early type B soon with the patch.

I was thinking on the same lines. Can you provide some photos / data that different type B boats weren't equipped with only one of the three conning towers through their whole life span?
About Prien's VIIB, I am inclined to believe it as I too have seen photos that have the same CT as VIIA, but I haven't seen one with SH3 CT. Or I might but I can't remember now.
It would be nice if someone could provide some screens...
