Ha! Found the second BB (a Queen Elizabeth class) just a bit south of the first one a few days later. And guess what? There were three carriers in the same taskforce too, who turned out to be the ones form the Malta supply quest ... erm ... objective.
Got the BB and two of the carriers and thereby finished two objectives with one attack
