GWX will give you less renown than the default base game.
Can be 40/50 renown per ship.
Also, sinking any neutral will cost you a lot of renown
(on the desk you can click on papers and see patrol reports and
check what you did sink)
With GWX you must not forget to identify the nationality of
the ship and use the Flag book in periscope view to check status
of that country according to the date.
