Wish them luck
Good luck to the crew of U-48 from U-47. A piece of advice if you go through the Channel, hit the Dover Straight at sundown, much easier to sneak through and stay in the middle, don't get too close to the shores, too many Tommys at Dover and Calais. I usually, got PD as soon as I have a visual contact of any warships (including torpedo boats) and run silent... not deep though. Surface when no sound contact, may be a few hours, but you can still manage to slip through, easier to get through than Gibraltar if you ask me. During the day, submerged is better, only surface during night to replenish the battery and get some fresh air.
