Probably you need to spend a lot of hours working in something you want to give for free for the enjoyment of everyone to realize why some people ask for such a simple thing as giving credit.
I see your point, and I share the idea of not being touchy about credit at all (All my mods state in the readme that they can be freely redistributed as longa s no profit is done, and not even needing to give credit or ask for permissions) but we must respect that others who have worked hard, see it otherwise, OK?
