Perhaps you were just thuroly inspecting the crush depth of this particular U-boat for the beterment of the greater U-boat Waften. Better yet you could have simply been making a detailed inspection of the insde of your eye lids to ensure that no Tommie propaganda was snuck in there when you weren't looking; those Tommie basterds are clever like that you know.

Beter yet this "Bernard" you referance could have been one of those doubble O's I hear so much about working for that mysterious "M" cherichter. I for one would not put it beond the ability of our most clever and alusive island foe. I mean just think of it, all that time just siting on that island with nothing much to do. It is only a mater of time befor they start ploting our down fall.
