Why can't people learn the difference between:

it's and its
their and there (and they're while we're about it)
your and you're

etc. etc.

If English isn't your first language, fine. (As an aside, many people taught English as a second language often have a greater understanding of it than those 'native speakers', especially if they are Western European)

If it is your native language, stop polluting this forum with your rank ignorance. Go read a book or three until you understand. Seems to me students in the USA should be shooting their English teachers, not each other. I'm sick of it (and it's by no means confined to the USA, but the rest of us realised many years ago that guns + population was a stupid combination, so most other nations' students don't have the means to shoot their teachers). It's like getting a fresh slap in the face every time I open a thread, or like lifting a succession of rocks with a 90% chance of finding a funnel-web (think a Tarantula on steroids with anger management issues to boot) under each one. Makes me want to puke.
