I just upgraded from WinXP to Win7. The box came with both the 32 and 64 bit disks

If you are using particular hardware, like gameport devices or MIDI instruments, then you have to use the 32-bit version. Otherwise, go for 64 bits. I'm using a dual boot 32/64 because I still use an old gameport joystick.
