I love the sub interior

, cept for the lack of correct lighting, the wardroom, and huge lack of clutter, its cool. I hate everything else. if I rated this game, i'd rate it at a 1 out of 10. why? cause they granted my wish that they'd make a full interior and first person cam, and unchain me from being stuck in one spot,(and really crappy spots) in each area of the sub. And, 1 CAUSE THEY TOOK AWAY EVERYTHING WE NEED TO PLAY THE GAME WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!! the TDC computer to compute fireing solutions for toredoes, the keyboard is almost empty of controls, no 'depth under keel' no full rudders, NO UNITE CAM, no station shortcuts! NO GRAMOPHONE, no TDC system... NOOOO TDC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!???

the XO gets all solution information half assed, range is always too short, ship speed is always way to fast, most of the times in the 100s knots, mouse so frickin laggy it takes minutes to move it around the screen. Torpedoes launching like super rockets and over shooting targets, sometimes strieght through them.

XO can man deck gun, but never secure it, and must have gills cause he never goes below during diving operations, but stays on bridge with his goons who never use binoculars and point at fish and my external cam....

and Now I can't even end patrol, I go back to kiel, but can't end patrol!

I'm stuck with refitting and heading right back out!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't understand for the life of me why'd they rip out all the important fuctions and keys of the u-boat and implement these retarded and bizare
systems in some of its place!?? I feel like they're playing a sick joke on us!
I wanna rip out my game and burry it in the cemetery with honors and a fireing squad, and never speak of the Silent Hunter series ever again!!!!!!!!!

SH5 shames the whole silent hunter franchise! and its an insult to me! I'm hugely offended that'd they took out all our important controls and systems!
this is a SIMULATOR!!!!!!!!!! not a fast paced fistperson shooter game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! simulate the frickin control systems damn it!

the full interiorr of the sub and walking first person cam is something i've always wished for ever since I started playing SH3, but IT DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE HUGE LACK OF CONTENT that U use to have as a standard in SH3!!!!!!! Put all of that back into the game and it'd rock my socks off.
