I think those skins are in the game even on the normal version, just not used. I checked some of the conning tower skins in the textures/tnormal/tex folder and some surely looked the same as those renders.

EDIT: Found the U552 conning tower skin too, not sure tho if that is one of the "historical U-boats" in the gold edition.
