From what I've seen of SHV it's a typical Ubisoft simulation. Get some cheaply paid Eastern European programmers to put it together, make a lot of promises, some pretty screen shots, but don't give the developers enough time to properly bug test it/get everything finished.
It gets released and it's full of bugs, so they say a patch is coming. Then another patch comes along that fixes a little bit more. Then about 12 months down the line everything goes quiet and all you hear is he developers saying "well the PC that can play it properly hasn't been created yet" (which translates as "The publisher wanted it out on the shelves making money)
On top of that you've got the DRM.
Oh for the days of Microprose!
I'm definately waiting 8 months before I even look at the case let alone buy the game
