No, but it does include an "open hatch mod" that you can enable through the included JSMGE mod manager, so that you can see between the control room and the radio/sonar/captain bed room.

In stock SHIII, if you press CTRL-F2 you can move around the sub using the arrow keys.

I do not care for the new torpedo impact sound in GWX3. So I installed the "realistic depth charge sound" mod. It is for the torpedo sound, not depth charge. Don't know why he named it that (he said he was tired).

If you enable the "Enhance damage effect" in GWX you get some cool fireballs and explosions.

Stock SH3, and still with GWX, gives you a dynamic campaign that starts at whatever year you choose, from 1939 on, and ends in May 1945. You go on missions, sink ships, earn medals, promotions, and skills for yourself and your crew, and try to survive as long as you can. You earn renown for your efforts which you can use for sub and weapon upgrades.

I've never done it. The problem I foresee with multi-player sub games is that it is like playing online chess - you need to coordinate with multiple players for HOURS of gameplay. It's not the sort of online game where you can jump in and out at any time you like.

You MUST patch to 1.4b before installing GWX 3.0 Gold. The game will not run otherwise.
