I tried for hours to make this mod but im lost, i cant even open a ZON file.. so im hoping someone can make this mod i 'think' it would be simple if i knew how to do it. the problem currently is

#1 Batteries recharge even when your diesels are off or on at the same speed.. its basically free power, id like some kind of modifier that only allows batteries to recharge when the diesel engine is running, and i havent noticed my sub slowing down to recharge the batteries either.. am i imagination this? i should not be making full speed and recharging batteries

#2 batteries recharge time is very poorly modeled in the game currently. they used a linear recharge so its basically recharging about 1% every few minutes, to get a full recharge takes over a day.. which is realistic.. but uboats could recharge the first 25-50% of thier batteries in just about 1-2 hours, the batteries IRL recharge much faster at first.. it is just topping them off the less efficient the recharge becomes. So id also like to see some sort of modifier that slows down the charging after say bat capacity reaches 25 and 50 and 75%.. the first 25% of the batteries should recharge very fast, about 10x faster than they currently do in the game.. anyone have any ideas where this info is or how to change it?
Several of the command key mods give you a working recharge toggle, and you can definately see an appropriate speed difference when you use it.

I really love the long recharges, but I guess I am less concerned with the static rate applying to the first 25% as I never let my battery go that low unless I am denied the surface. Knowing that amps = options, I hoard them when I can, and am frugal with them when I can't.

But yes, it would be nice ( and more realistic ) if 1-25% went much faster.
