Stuck in Extrnal View after TimeX

OS - Vista Home Premium 32
IF I go to any external view after using time compression I am unable to get back inside my boat. I am forced to save game and reload just to get back inside.
I am also unable to interact with any of my crew with the exception of only one option "I have nothing more to say." WTF...
Also, I have NO deck watch when surfaced even is I sound alarm.
I can not get any crew to man the AA gun.
I nstalled the latest patch and these issue's persist.
Keyboard Bindings - ZOMG don't get me started but I am certain a retard set that up.
