This prevents everyone from playing the game.

And now it's Ubisofts fault because they came up with a DRM that the hackers can't fully defeat so they resort to DOS attacks to prevent you from enjoying the game you paid money for.

And everyone is mad at Ubisoft?

Color me skeptical

We have reports from people all over the world with different type of problems... Servers sending updates and then freezing, people being kicked out, logins not accepted.

This does not look like a DDoS attack.

Add to this Ubisoft wonderful damage control. First they say it's 5% of european gamers, then they say it's solved only to put out a statament, soon after, that it's really a DDoS attack.

Placing the blame on vengeful hackers... how convenient.

It's always other people fault. Liars and spinners rule the world economy. That's what you get with public companies. Everything done for the sake of the shares and bonus compensations. Take the money and run.
