You guys sound like you are much farther along than me (I am taking way too much time in each mission, I know

What can you tell me about these objectives? Do I need to sink a certain type of ship by a certain time? A certain amount of tons by a certain date?
To do what? Continue? Get a kiss from Doenitz' secretary?
I've seen "objectives" listed in the mission briefings but I have not come across anything that prevents me from continuing the campaign if I don't sink 10 ships per patrol (I am averaging 2).
