Understood, thanks for taking the extra step to confirm your legality (screenshot of the games in front of the montior). This forum discourages the mention of using cracks because for every person who does as you did, there are many who will not be honest about it. And it only takes a few sparks to start a fire.

You can launch the game from the games directory, by going to Start>Games and then launch it from the shortcut there. If you want make a shortcut to place on your desktop, you can create one from the install directory to place on your desktop. Go to C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 and copy the "sh5.exe" to your desktop, which should bring up the game launcher.
