Default SH5 ought to have been cold war gone hot....

Looking at some of the posts here and of course the DRM fiasco.. Something is really dawning on me here... There is HIGH expectations for World War 2 submarine simulations. So you can idmagine that if SH5 fails to deliver (And it did fail already in my opinion DRM alone did that), There will be many people going back to a modded SH4.

Enough with the 2nd World War. We have fought it over and over and over again. Countless Shooters, Flight Sims and Arcades.. Strategy.

Ever wonder how "World In Conflict" got such great ratings early on even despite the bugs? It was new it took risks and really drove you in with rich story and a conflict highly detailed. Beaten only by Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy.

Ubisoft, SH5 is going to be a flop in my opinion. Yes mainly because of your insane DRM but also because you pretended like walking in the sub is worthy of another 50 bucks (That's simplistic but its the "main" feature) To me its not. Especially when SH4 has such great modifications already.

Ubisoft, It's time to take a risk in my opinion. You already have the rights to the Tom Clancy line. And of course one of his best novels was made as a backstory to a video game. A Silent Hunter game set in that universe would sell very well in my opinion. Being able to slap Tom Clancy on a candy bar would cause it to sell out these days

The 688 for the US and for extra difficulty Tango, Kilo, or Foxtrot for the Soviet Union. In my opinion these would be the best classes with of course options for DLC later...

If you have never read "Red Storm Rising" you simply wont understand and will think this topic is just another "Cold War" Request. And it is. And the increasing volume of those requests ought to tell ubisoft something.

Enough World War 2 already!
