Is the spread that bad? Have not tried it yet.
But considering that torps are not the unltimate ship killer anymore I was going to start using this to get the kills, since it seems that for most ships takes 3+ torps to do much of anything. Add in duds and you have to about use 4 torps for ships anyway.
