I haven't had a lot to note about the sub's damage model; I've been shot at by guns, depth charges and machineguns. Repairs are not instant but quick. Gunfire sunk me pretty quickly, but machineguns had very little effect.

Ships sink a little slower than SHIV, and in general seem to take more than one torpedo to go down. Deck gun seems to take about 30-40 shots to sink a ship.
