These days you can buy a copy of SH3 that is fully patched and Starforce-free (disc doesn't have to be in the drive to play), and for very cheap.

Then you can also buy SH4 for a low price, and experience the best of both worlds. SH4 also has many great mods available.

And SH5 is looking like it might end up being the best ever - all that modability and fantastic graphics.
