Sorry for butting in as I’m in Scotland. But over here things like this are normally ruined with “Health & Safety” We went mad over here in the UK. 
Can you walk on the deck of the SUB and ships and have full access to them? Over here you’d get a small part and not be allowed on the decks unless you had life jackets I kid you not…….. |
Well, you don't have
full access to all of the ships, but there are no holes cut in the bulkheads for easier access, you pass through steep companionways to go from one deck to the other, and the deeper you go into the
Massachusetts, the staler the air gets and the smaller the hatches become. You can even go inside one of the 16-inch turrets and explore the gunhouse.
The place is about as handicapped accessible as a rhinoceros, and all the more awesome because of it.
