It's a picture taken from when the boat was in service as the Wilhelm Bauer. Although, to be honest, when I first looked at the picture on my computer, I initally thought it was a mirror too.
No mannequins are on the boat, although one gets to hear a nice dramatic recording of a depth charge attack going off.
