I had the same problem with tmo, it was a bloody pleasure cruise nearly every time in a stinking, noisy, boat with noxious food. (who puts dog food in soup anyway.)
Mostly, Ive moved on to bigger and better things. RSRD is a good option.
although i did find that playing as the germans, you could find good hunting along the west coast of australia, travelling nnw twoards indonisia.
