In all my time riding boats - I was seasick once... Pulling out of Hong Kong - long maneuvering watch on the surface - rough seas - rig for red - and - running the BPS-15 radar... Watching the display go round and round and round... Arrgh... Red light and green screens didn't sit well with me...

In Sonar we usually had the shack rigged for blue - unless the OOD was entering - we would switch back to red... The blue light was mellow - but - seemed to make you sleepy...

Not really sure if I like these orange displays - or - not... Haven't seen them in real life... In DW - they seem a bit glaring...
