You know, I was one of those guys if not exactly whining, then at least being hugely dissatisfied with their new DRM system. Until it really hit home to me that I actually:
1) Have a reliable 24/7 cable net connection
2) Will only play the game on my main desktop hooked up to said connection
So yeah, after much pondering I now think I'll buy it (well at least after upgrading my main desktop, which in its current incarnation won't most likely run the game anyway). Yah yah yah, if UBI's server farm goes south I'm feeked anyway, I know... but hell, life's full of risks innit?
So stop being so hugely negative ye geezers you, it's only a game fergadssakes
PS. On a more serious - and generic - note I _do_ understand the dangers to your privacy, etc. involved here. But hey, what can you do? Apart from resorting to shady unspecified means you either buy the game or you don't, simple as that...
