I'll add that most atheists only have a problem with the Christians who try to turn the government into a theocracy, or treat them as lesser beings because they are not Christians. I have a problem with certain behaviors that are displayed by some, but one's beliefs are a personal matter, and no one's business but your own.

That's all most of us ask. You respect us, and live your life, we'll respect you, and live our lives.
I will say that there are some that do seem to have a problem with all theists, but they do not speak for me, just as Fred Phelps doesn't speak for all Christians. Base your decisions on the person and on their actions, not the beliefs. (But show up at my door early on a Saturday, and all bets are off.
)
