I haven't a clue who Col. West is, but I do like his clarity and knowledge of the subject. The point I was able to draw from his answer is,
"It is what it is, what it always has been, and that is what we are up against".
If we don't understand the subject material, we don't understand our enemy.
Sums it up nicely for me; a lot better than the previous administrations 'Axis of Evil' buzzphrase.
