Hey ! i don't know if i'm right but try (only works for single missions) to change the default depth of players ship in the mssion editor of sh4 , because initially the depth is set at
30-35ft which is a periscope depth for a
SUBMARINE .Since you are in a
battleship , your initial depth must be about
15ft otherwise it sinks ( thats why your ship is underwater).
I had the same problem with my iowa add on, but fixed it this way
