Not to be off-topic, but your account of sub flying out of water reminds me of the OH Perry in DW after I rigged it to go 600 knots. In tight turns they tended to catch some serious air. Landings were a bit, eh, rough. *sink*

Whereabouts do you find Bismarck in the first place? I have a ways to go before '41, but it sounds like watching her in battle must have been thoroughly impressive.
