True, we all have expressed concern bout SH5 on multiple aspects, yet so far we simply can not say anything wrong about the devs. By "devs" I mean the designers, programmers and 3d-artists that actually create the game. That has more to do with how a game company works, not by a fan-sentiment or misplaced appreciation for a team we don't actually know. Q&A is dictated by marketing alone, DRM was ordered from much higher in the hierarchy and the decision to leave out certain features was a combination of factors. Bugs and patches will probably fall on the shoulders of testers and marketing.
I wish for the game to be a commercial and critical success. I wish for the devs to receive a pat on the back and a big bonus, rather than consolation and defending from the actions of others. I am more familiar to thanking and showing respect to fellow modders, as they spend a lot of time and effort to enrich this community. The devs are doing a job and are payed for it (more or less). Thus, I wish for them to do a superb job to the end and receive the proper appreciation from their superiors and the gaming community.
Picard out...
