It is with sad regret, I have to inform you of the Collapse of a Gaming Giant, Ubisoft. It came out of the blue said one Ubisoft Manager.
All was going fine at the beginning of the year. Then we decided on a new policy, of having our gamers, having to connect online 24/7 when they play our games. We told them it was in their best intrests, But I still cant understand why it didnt work. I mean our servers only crashed 3 times an Hr, But they could jump back in when they came online again. OK they would have lost all the hrs they had been playing, if they didnt have a chance to save. But thats all part of the experience right.
Ubisoft Had managed to get a collection of great games ready for 2010, but sadly, once the new OSP was added, None Sold. Talking to one Manager, he told us that they took the normal Ubisoft option, of burying their heads in the sand, as that normally works and the nasty gamers go away.
We have learnt that there is one peice of good news though. Ubisoft are front runners to win this years Darwin awards.
Killing yourself ( in this case the company ) In the Dummest way possible
Who needs nostradamus, when this policy makes it easy to see the future.
