Not sure if it's the lame difficulty settings I have in place when I play SH3 (I'm at a whopping 3%
), but I can still use my periscope when submerged below periscope depth. *shrug* Dunno. Do higher difficulty settings cause seal blowouts at depths much greater than periscope depth (as in DW)?
If not, then by all means raise that periscope when you dive to the great dark depths of the sea and observe the icebergs as you majestically careen off of their underwater projections (or not... you most probably are a much better skipper than I).
On a sidenote, I love DW's High Frequency sonar at the 'scope.
