Well it does keep a few thousand refugees of off Florida. But that is pretty much all it gives you except for a polished up reputation in the world.
Though I'm not a huge fan of the US (I don't hate it either
) I have to admit that I'm impressed with the amount of help coming from the US. Our government doesn't even provide planes for the relief organisations as far as I know.
