I preferred "Patrol Boat" a late 1970's ABC series based on the old Attack class boats. Much less fluff and soap opera trash.

Didn't the BBC do "Warship" or some such back then as well?

As Sea Patrol was a remake of sorts surely the Beeb could do one based on the Type 23's or the Type 45's?
