@ ducimus - i have been thinking you would do an OP monsun style mod for sh5 to bring fleet boats to the atlantic and i even was willing to say i would bet money on it because its the kind of new challenge i thought would be very attractive to you. so i am very happy to hear you are thinking about doing it.

I think as things stand at the present....The Grey Wolves and GWX (including the work of GWX4 thus completed or in a state of abeyance) are in a state of retirement.
I can't say definitively what might happen in the future.....who can?
I can say there are currently no plans in place/store to recommence work on GWX4 or commence modding work on SH5 when it's released.
On a personal note...I'm simply looking forward to the release of SH5 and exploring/enjoying the game, then seeing what ensues.
