for editing SH4 objects you need the excellent program
S3D. You can edit virtually everything that can be edited on an object using just this one little program!
You can't edit 3d models in S3D itself, but you can use it to extract/insert models into the .dat files SH4 uses.
S3D supports the .obj file format, you can use an external 3d editor to edit the objects.
