Well, that's the glory of the cam. You just watch the DD pass and you know exactly when to speed up, then you can watch the charges and often steer away. Being stuck in the sub gives you a real experience.
Really have to listen for them to pass. Again, it's just so freaking time consuming....so I just alter.
Good thing about TMO1.9 is most of the dials are clickable and now function. You can actually hit Del and remove all the controls and run your sub with the dials.
I wish I had constraint. If I take the cam....I end up using it. Mainly I just alter. If I don't have time, I'll cut cams and contacts on, other days I can spend 10 hours in one battle, cuz you bout have to play real time.
The Midway battle is poorly scripted in stock, but usually easy to find once you know where it is. It's really spead out.
RSRD does a great job on all the major battles. I love watching the surface forces shooting it out why I'm trying to sneak in and help out. You can really watch some huge surface battles. That's when you want the cam. With the EAX mod, my wife gets peod if I crank the speakers. You have 50 warships blasting each other, planes in the air, it can get real noisy.
