I agree with AVGWarhawk, I think that what you mean depends on temperature.
The first snow of end november/early december looks like pictures in Oberon's post #63, it's cute & romantic, but when it gets colder it looks like more my previous post (#59).
Pics in my previous post had been taken in early march 2008, it was a record year, that winter we had more than 500 cm of snow.. but usually it's around 325 cm.
I can assure you someday I'll be able to afford a 10 days escape in the caribbean.
