Another thing I rememberd just the now that is rather usefull is when it is ok to stop dodging enemy attacks. Due to water's carrying capacity for sound you can hear the explosions from the depth charges from a long way off. Once your ship stops ratleing with each explosion you can bet that the distroyers are having a hard time tracking you. The next sign I have noticed is when your ship stops changing course or depth as a result of the explosions. Once the explosions stop moving your ship you can stop evaiding the attacks beacouse the rounds aren't falling any where near you. You should still be quiet, slow and deep to avoid them finding you again but going in a strait line will help in your geting away faster.
