I noted your post a couple of days ago, and started to answer. I really had not noticed your problem with time compression.
My problem always has been the reverse: endless bad weather and 15m/s winds.
If changing the weather with high time compression works, you have made a great contribution to the community.
I'll give it a try later, but I want to try the new Mediterranean Sea add on first.
