I don't mind a bit of snow... it being rare I usually enjoy it,
But today I wanted to visit Amsterdam to see an Opera for the first time, and the hell-damned trains stopped running altogether for oh, I don't know, 5 cm of snow....
this happens every time the first snow falls...
It's ridiculous, I spent 3 hours to traval 30km by train... just barely made it in time and had to miss out on the dinner arrangement because of this...
Hell I hear that In places like Norway the trains only get slowed down if there's 2 meters of snow....
And tomorrow I'm going to have to go to work by train, joy of joys... not that that's a big issue, I'd rather miss work than an opera I paid good money to see..
thankfully I did enjoy the opera and maybe, if the snow lasts until the weekend I might appreciate it as well.
