November 21st, 1941 - In the largest tank battle of Operation Crusader, British tanks of the 4th Armoured Brigade Group and the 22nd Armoured Brigade counterattacks the DAK's 21st Panzer Division at Gabr Saleh. By the end of the battle, casualties on both sides would rise to nearly 350 tanks destroyed and 4,000 men killed.
