One day were going to re-fuel underway next to a carrier. A junior officer is OOD. His first time at underway replenishment. We come in very smartly to the carrier from the starboard side aft. The band on the carrier strikes up a jaunty tune.... We never slow down and cruise right on by the carrier and very smartly, exit to the starboard forward.
